Thyristor Alarms

The thyristor alarms trainer is a power electronics board for building SCR-based alarm circuits. It demonstrates make-to-operate and break-to-operate alarms, a tamper-proof burglar alarm, an alarm with delayed self-latching, and alarms triggered by water level, by a light beam through an LDR and by temperature through a thermistor. A 12 V audio alarm sounds when the SCR fires (SKU JA-PET-1422).
