The SCR regulated DC power supply trainer is a power electronics board for studying how a phase-controlled SCR bridge produces and regulates a DC output. Students compare inductance-input and capacitor-input filters, open-loop and closed-loop operation, and ramp and pedestal control, measuring output voltage variation, regulation and ripple as the load and line voltage change. It runs on 230 V AC mains (SKU JA-PET-1419).
