The single phase half controlled bridge converter trainer covers both the symmetrical and the asymmetrical configuration, with the waveforms observed on an oscilloscope. The board carries two op-amps, logic gate ICs, three NPN transistors, two SCRs and two 1:1 pulse transformers, and a 230 V AC, 200 mA isolation transformer protects external instruments that are not isolated (SKU JA-PET-1431).
