The ramp comparator firing circuit trainer shows how firing pulses for a single phase converter are produced with the ramp comparator scheme. The board carries two op-amps, logic gate ICs, two NPN transistors, a reference-voltage potentiometer and a 1:1 pulse transformer, powered by 6 V AC and ±12 V DC regulated supplies (SKU JA-PET-1434).
