The Principles of Air Flow unit (SKU JA-FMAHLE-10005), supplied by JaincoLab, introduces the basics of air flow in pipes. A radial fan draws air through a transparent intake pipe, whose inlet contour keeps turbulence low, and a throttle valve on the delivery pipe sets the flow. This air flow trainer measures temperature and pressure electronically, so the velocity can be found from the dynamic pressure and the flow rate from the differential pressure.
