Fluid Properties and Hydrostatics Bench
Product Code : JA-FMAHLE-9941
The fluid properties and hydrostatics bench (SKU JA-FMAHLE-9941) brings together the apparatus needed for introductory experiments on fluid properties and hydrostatics: density, capillarity, viscosity, atmospheric and hydrostatic pressure, buoyancy, gauge calibration and flotation stability. It is supplied by JaincoLab as a complete set for the first fluid mechanics practicals in engineering colleges, polytechnics and university physics or civil engineering laboratories.
Specifications
The fluid properties and hydrostatics bench includes a 100 mm dial gauge of 0 to 200 kN/m² (kPa), a dead weight calibrator with 2 x 0.5 kg, 1 kg and 2.5 kg weights, a universal hydrometer of 0.70 to 2.00 in 0.01 steps, 40 mm falling sphere viscometers and a dual-scale lever balance.

Experiments on the fluid properties and hydrostatics bench
The fluid properties and hydrostatics bench lets students measure density and relative density, capillary rise, viscosity by falling sphere, atmospheric pressure and the pressure on a submerged surface, and study buoyancy, Pascal's principle, gauge calibration and the stability of a floating body.
- Density and relative density with the hydrometer and lever balance
- Capillary elevation between plates and in tubes
- Viscosity with the falling sphere viscometer
- Hydrostatic force on a submerged surface and centre of pressure
- Pressure gauge calibration, Pascal's principle and metacentric height
Scope of supply and ordering
The listing covers the apparatus named in the table as one bench set. The mercury barometer is supplied without mercury. Handling, use and disposal must follow the regulations that apply to this material in the destination country. Accessories, spares and quantities are confirmed on the quotation.
MOQ, lead time and packing for the fluid properties and hydrostatics bench are confirmed on each quotation for the quantity and delivery destination. Single sets and multiple sets for new laboratories are supplied, including export to Africa, the Middle East and South and South-East Asia.
