The Drum Cell Filter (SKU JA-AM-6488) is a rotary vacuum drum filter for continuous cake filtration of suspensions. A perforated drum covered with filter cloth rotates partly immersed in a stirred suspension tank; vacuum inside the drum draws off the filtrate and dries the cake, which is removed continuously by an adjustable scraper or compressed air. Drum speed is infinitely variable. It is supplied by JaincoLab for chemical and mechanical process engineering laboratories.

The drum has about 0.1 m² filter area and turns at about 0.1-3 rpm on a motor of about 300 W; the stirrer runs at about 15 rpm on about 120 W; the filtrate vacuum tank and cake collector each hold about 30 litres, and the suspension volume is listed as about 3 litres.
