Soil Volume Change Meter

The soil volume change meter gives a potential volume change (PVC) rating for a soil from a small specimen compacted in a 70 mm diameter ring, with the readings taken on a 4.5 kN (1,000 lb) proving ring and dial indicator. Charts supplied with it convert the readings to pounds per square foot and then to the PVC rating (SKU JA-SM-8870).
