The plastic limit set is used to find the plastic limit of soil, the water content at which a soil just begins to crumble when rolled into a thread of 3 mm diameter. It contains a frosted glass rolling plate, a 3 mm rod, a porcelain basin, six moisture containers, a spatula and a wash bottle (SKU JA-SM-8878).
