The motorised Casagrande equipment determines the liquid limit of soils with a motor-driven cup drop. A gear motor in the aluminium housing turns a moulded self-lubricating cam that lifts and drops the spun brass cup onto a moulded hard rubber base, and a mechanical counter records the number of drops (SKU JA-SM-8864).
