Field CBR Equipment

The field CBR equipment measures the bearing capacity of soil in place, using a 50 kN field CBR jack to push a 50 mm penetration piston into the soil. Load is read on one of three proving rings of 10, 28 or 50 kN, and penetration on a dial gauge carried on a 2-metre bridge support (SKU JA-SM-8861).
