Voltage Commutated Thyristorised Chopper

The voltage commutated chopper trainer is used to study a step-down thyristor chopper with voltage commutation. Two SCRs with 1:1:1 pulse transformers, a UJT relaxation oscillator, op-amp and timer ICs, a freewheeling diode, inductors and a 12 V, 6 W bulb are built in, with ±12 V and 5 V regulated supplies (SKU JA-PET-1439).
