Distillation Heads - Steam Distillation, Sloping (product code JA-D-1609) are steam distillation heads for separating volatile, water-insoluble compounds by passing steam through a mixture. The steam distillation head sits on the flask, lets steam enter the mixture and leads the vapour through a sloping outlet to the condenser. Two combinations are listed: B19 flask cone with B19 condenser cone, and a B34 flask cone with a B19 condenser cone for larger flasks.
Specifications
Each head has a ground-glass cone to fit the flask and a ground-glass cone to fit the condenser, with a sloping outlet. The B34/B19 version lets a large B34 flask feed a standard B19 condenser.
