Distillation Heads - Splash, Sloping (product code JA-D-1606) are splash heads fitted between a boiling flask and a sloping condenser. A splash head stops droplets of boiling liquid from being thrown up into the condenser, so the distillate is not contaminated by the contents of the flask. One cone fits the flask and the other fits the condenser. Five combinations are listed, from B19/B19 to B34/B34, for distillation work in teaching and research laboratories.

The sloping splash head has two ground-glass cones, one for the flask and one for the condenser, with the condenser outlet set on a slope. Five combinations are listed, including a reducing B24/B19 version for a B24 flask used with a B19 condenser.
