Distillation Heads (product code JA-D-1604) are the still heads that sit on top of a boiling flask in a jointed distillation set-up. A distillation head has a cone that fits the flask, a side arm ending in a cone that fits the condenser, and a socket at the top that takes a thermometer adapter so the vapour temperature can be read. Six combinations are listed, from the micro-scale B10 size to a B24 flask cone with a B24 condenser cone.

The head connects the flask to the condenser and holds the thermometer at the point where vapour leaves for the condenser, which is where the boiling temperature is measured.
