Distillation Heads - Splash Head, Adapter (product code JA-D-1608) is a splash head adapter that fits between a boiling flask and the next piece of apparatus to stop splashes from reaching the condenser. The splash head adapter has one cone to fit the flask and one to fit the condenser, so it can be added to an existing set-up when a liquid starts to bump or foam. Two combinations are listed: a B19 flask cone with a B24 condenser cone, and B24 with B24.
Specifications
The adapter has two ground-glass cones: the cone to fit the flask is B19 or B24, and the cone to fit the condenser is B24 in both listed versions. The B19/B24 version also steps up the joint size from a B19 flask to B24 apparatus.
