Distillation Heads - Claisen, Sloping (product code JA-D-1605) are two-neck still heads used mainly for distillation under reduced pressure. A Claisen distillation head has one neck directly above the flask and a second neck carrying the side arm to the condenser, so liquid that bumps or foams in the flask is less likely to be carried over into the distillate. The sloping side arm leads down to the condenser. Five combinations are listed, with flask cones from B14 to B29 and B14 sockets.
