The Spectrometer 7 (SKU JA-SI-6594) is a robust student spectrometer for measuring the angle of a prism, the refractive index of the prism material and the wavelength and frequency of light from a source. It stands on a heavy metal base with an adjustable prism table marked with grooved lines. The fixed main circle, 150 or 175 mm in diameter, is read by two opposite verniers to 30 seconds of arc.
