The Digital Melting Point Apparatus (SKU JA-SI-6519) heats samples in a cylindrical silicone oil bath with a built-in magnetic stirrer, so the heat reaches the capillaries evenly. The heating rate and the stirrer speed are both set electronically, and a PT-100 sensor feeds a 3-digit LED display that can hold the reading at the melting point. A glare-free back light with adjustable intensity makes the melting easier to see.
