The Potentiometer Single Wire (SKU JA-SI-8117) is the simplest form of potentiometer for school and college physics. A 0.56 mm constantan wire is stretched along a metre scale divided into millimetres and centimetres and clamped to stout plated brass end plates. The terminating strips carry heavy-duty brass terminals, and the whole is mounted on an 18 mm laminated board.
