Planks Constant Apparatus

The Planks Constant Apparatus (SKU JA-OED-1051) is a complete set-up for finding Planck's constant from the photoelectric effect. Light from the lamp house passes through a colour filter onto a vacuum photo cell held on a double-rod optical bench. The stabilised low-voltage power supply, with moving-coil meters, is used to find the stopping potential for each filter, and Planck's constant follows from the slope of stopping potential against frequency.
