The Stroboscope (SKU JA-TAMI-1007) shows the stroboscopic effect and measures the speed of a moving part without any connection to the revolving wheel or shaft. The flash rate is adjusted until the rotating part appears to stand still, and the speed is then read from a calibrated dial covering 100 to 10,000 RPM. The unit is mains operated, with battery working available as an option.
