The Losses in a Pipe System trainer (SKU JA-FMAHLE-9994), supplied by JaincoLab, investigates pressure losses in pipe fittings and shut-off devices. Six PVC pipe sections, each able to be shut off, carry a sudden contraction, a sudden enlargement, Y-pieces, T-pieces, bends and elbows, and a seventh section holds interchangeable measuring objects and valves. This pipe fittings loss apparatus reads pressure differences through annular chambers on two twin tube manometers.

Experiments with the pipe fittings loss apparatus
