The Heat Transfer Demonstrator (SKU JA-AM-6494) is a self-contained unit for showing how heat exchanger efficiency changes with exchanger design, material of construction, flow direction or pattern and flow velocity. Hot and cold fluids are circulated by two pumps from a water heater and a refrigerant-type water chiller, each with its own storage tank, and manifolded valves allow flows to be reversed. Flow and temperature indicators and controllers are built in, on a metal frame with casters. It is supplied by JaincoLab for heat transfer and process laboratories.
