The Concrete Penetrometer, Spring Type (SKU JA-CT-9890) measures the penetration resistance of fresh concrete or mortar, used to follow setting. A cylindrical spring housing carries a plunger graduated in 1 kg divisions up to 60 kg, read against the top of the housing, with a penetration needle at the other end. Six needle points of 645, 323, 161, 65, 32 and 16 mm² allow the full range of stiffness to be covered. It comes in a carrying case. It is supplied by JaincoLab for concrete laboratories.
