The Rebar and Wall Tie Locator (SKU JA-CT-9904) is a rugged gauge for finding steel in concrete and masonry. It is supplied with three detector heads: two 100 mm mild steel search heads and an additional 150 mm search head that also locates copper and some types of stainless steel. It detects mild and stainless steel rebars, bed joint reinforcement and hoop irons, locates wiring in plaster walls and can be used as a stud locator. A clear audio tone guides the operator, so there is no need to keep watching the meter. It is supplied by JaincoLab for concrete and building survey work.
