The BCD to Decimal Decoder Using IC 7492 apparatus (SKU JA-DEECP-1178) decodes a 4-bit binary-coded-decimal input into one of ten decimal output lines. The BCD value, 0000 to 1001 for the digits 0 to 9, is set with four SPDT switches, and ten LEDs show which output is active. Codes 1010 to 1111 have no decimal equivalent and are treated as invalid, which students can confirm on the unit.
