The Crompton Potentiometer (SKU JA-SI-8122) is a dial-and-slide-wire potentiometer for college e.m.f. measurement. It works at a current of about 125 mA, set with coarse and fine rheostats, and each slide wire division equals 0.5 mV (500 microvolts). A self-standardisation circuit is built in, so standardisation depends on the setting of the voltage dials.
