The Portable Wheatstone Bridge with Loop Test (SKU JA-SI-8040) is the portable Wheatstone bridge with added switching for cable testing. Besides ordinary resistance measurement, a special switching arrangement allows the conductance test, the Varley loop test and the Murray loop test. Seven multiplying factors, X1000 down to X0.001, serve resistance measurement and the Varley loop test, and three additional factors of 10M, 100M and 1000M are provided for Murray loop tests. The series arm, battery and galvanometer are the same as on the standard portable bridge.
