Flocculator Jar Testing Apparatus

The Flocculator Jar Testing Apparatus (SKU JA-SI-6531) is used in water treatment work to find the right dose of alum or another coagulant for water and sewage. All jars are stirred under identical conditions by a geared, continuous-run 1/20 HP variable-speed motor at 10 to 100 RPM. A fluorescent tube under a translucent plastic plate lights the jars from below with diffused cold light, so the floc can be watched as it forms.
