Portable Wheatstone Bridge

The Portable Wheatstone Bridge (SKU JA-SI-8037) measures resistance from 0.001 ohm to 11.1 megohm and is self-contained, so it can be used on the bench or outside the laboratory. Four decades of 10 x 1, 10 x 10, 10 x 100 and 10 x 1000 ohm form the measuring arm, and a single rotary switch selects one of seven range multipliers. A 4.5 V dry battery and a galvanometer are built in, with provision for an external battery when measuring high resistances.
