The Monostable and Free Running Multi vibrators using Transistors apparatus (SKU JA-SOM-1155) shows the multivibrator as a non-linear oscillator built from discrete transistors, able to generate square, rectangular and pulse waves. In the monostable mode a trigger produces a single pulse; in the free-running mode the circuit oscillates continuously.
