Hydraulic Resilient Modulus Testing System
Product Code : JA-ST-9807
The Hydraulic Resilient Modulus Testing System (SKU JA-ST-9807) determines the resilient modulus and permanent deformation of unbound base and sub-base pavement materials. A beam-mounted hydraulic actuator on an axially stiff load frame applies dynamic cyclic axial loads to a specimen confined in a triaxial cell, and axial deformation can be measured with anything from local LVDTs to external linear potentiometers. It is supplied by JaincoLab for highway and pavement research laboratories.

Applications of the resilient modulus testing system
Resilient modulus is the stiffness input used in pavement design, so the system serves:
- Characterising granular base and sub-base materials for flexible pavement design
- Measuring permanent deformation of unbound layers under repeated loading
- Evaluating recycled or stabilised aggregates for road bases
- Postgraduate research in highway and transportation engineering
Scope of supply and ordering
Choose the axial deformation measurement option, local LVDTs or external linear potentiometers; the listing covers the load frame, hydraulic actuator and triaxial cell. Quantities, packing and delivery lead time are stated on each quotation.
Frequently asked questions
Which properties does the system measure?
It determines the resilient modulus and the permanent deformation of unbound base and sub-base pavement materials.
How is the cyclic load applied?
A beam-mounted hydraulic actuator on an axially stiff load frame applies dynamic cyclic axial loads, while a triaxial cell confines the specimen.
How is axial deformation measured?
Options range from localised LVDTs on the specimen to external linear potentiometers.
