The Freezing Microtome (Erma Type), SKU JA-M-6587, cuts thin to semi-thin sections of fresh, frozen tissue and also semi-thin sections of industrial materials such as textiles, paper, leather, soft plastics, rubber, powders, pastes and food products, frozen with its carbon dioxide attachment. This freezing microtome cuts sections up to 40 microns in 5 micron steps on a 35 mm freezing stage and clamps to the side of a standard table.
