The Tissue Flotation Bath (SKU JA-M-2338) floats paraffin wax sections on warm water so that they flatten out before being picked up on slides for staining. This tissue flotation bath has a double walled chamber with a black anodised aluminium inner wall, which makes the pale sections easy to see, and a painted mild steel outer wall, with glass wool insulation between them. A thermostat, pilot lamp and control knob are fitted. JaincoLab manufactures it for histology and pathology laboratories.
