The Flow Table Electric Operated (SKU JA-ELA-5523) is a motor-driven flow table supplied by JaincoLab for flow tests on cement mortar in civil engineering laboratories. Its brass table top, 250 ± 2.5 mm in diameter and reinforced with equally spaced ribs, is mounted on a rigid stand and is lifted and dropped through 12 mm by a ground and hardened cam. A geared motor turns the cam through its shaft at 100 rpm, so the drops come at a steady rate.

How the flow test is run
- Mortar is moulded in a cone at the centre of the table and the mould is lifted off
- The table is dropped a set number of times by the motor-driven cam
- The spread of the mortar is measured and compared with the original base diameter
