The Electric Field Apparatus (product code JA-EE-7653) is used to demonstrate the shape of electric fields between electrodes. Six electrodes are supplied, two point sources, two line sources and two circular rings of 35 mm and 70 mm diameter, so the class can compare fields between points, between parallel lines and around rings. A thumbscrew beside each terminal allows fine adjustment of the electrode positions. The electric field apparatus needs a safe, low-current, current-limited 0–5 kV EHT supply.
