Dual Purpose Electroscope

The Dual Purpose Electroscope (product code JA-EE-7654) is a gold leaf electroscope for detecting and comparing electric charge. A single gold leaf is attached to a metal plate, which is held by an insulating bush inside a metal case, and a scale lets the deflection of the leaf be read rather than just seen. A 4 mm socket earthing terminal on the case allows the instrument to be earthed during induction experiments in school and college physics.
