Cube moulds (SKU JA-STE-3413) are used to cast mortar and concrete cubes for compressive strength testing. JaincoLab makes them in cast iron in sizes from 50 mm to 150 mm, including 70.6 mm moulds for cement mortar and 150 mm moulds in economy, standard and heavy duty grades, with all sizes also available in mild steel. Larger sizes of 200 to 600 mm are made on request for special testing.

Applications of cube moulds for concrete and mortar
Cube moulds are filled with fresh mortar or concrete, compacted, cured and stripped to give cubes that are crushed in a compression testing machine, which is the routine test of cement and concrete strength.
