This trainer is used to determine the resistance of a galvanometer by the half-deflection method, find its figure of merit, and convert it into an ammeter of a given range and calibrate it. It carries a 30-0-30 galvanometer and a 0-50 mA DC milliammeter, both with 65 mm rectangular dials, a potentiometer and a +5 V DC, 50 mA regulated supply (SKU JA-AET-1474).
