Condensers Double Surface Davies (product code JA-C-1599) are water-cooled condensers with two cooling surfaces: an outer jacket and an inner cooled tube, with the vapour passing through the space between them. Because the vapour is cooled from both sides, a Davies condenser gives a large cooling surface in a short length. Seven sizes are listed, with 150 or 200 mm effective length and joints from B14 to B29, for reflux and distillation in teaching and research laboratories.
