Bulk Density Kit

The bulk density kit is a soil sampler that extracts intact soil cores 57 mm (2.25 inch) in diameter into brass cylinders of known volume, so that the bulk density of the soil can be determined. The cylinder with its sample can also be placed in a pressure plate extractor or Tempe cell to find the water-holding characteristics of the soil (SKU JA-CL-8851).
