Sparkler Filters

Sparkler Filters (SKU JA-ELA-5510) are enclosed plate-type pressure filters supplied by JaincoLab for batch filtration of liquids in pharmaceutical, chemical and food processing and in pharmaceutical engineering laboratories. The zero hold-up models filter the complete batch without leaving unfiltered liquid behind. The cake, filter aid and solids stay fully enclosed in the vessel, and a backwash facility cleans the filter without opening the assembly. The top dome lifts off so the plate assembly can be removed and the cake cleaned out quickly.

Frequently asked questions
What does zero hold-up mean?
The whole batch is filtered, with no unfiltered liquid left in the filter at the end.
Can it filter hot liquids?
Yes, with the SS 304 jacket offered on request for hot filtration.
How is the filter cleaned?
By backwashing without opening the assembly, or by lifting the top dome and removing the plate assembly.
