The Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger (SKU JA-HTLE-7380) is a two-pass teaching unit in which hot water flows through copper tubes to one end of a stainless steel shell and returns through the remaining tubes, while cold water passes over the tubes in the shell. Baffles guide the cold stream, rotameters measure both flows and valves set them. This shell and tube heat exchanger trainer draws hot water from a heated tank with digital temperature control through a magnetic-drive pump.
