The Tubular Heat Exchanger (SKU JA-HTLE-9204), supplied by JaincoLab, is a small-scale concentric-tube heat exchanger for teaching the fundamentals of heat exchangers. The outer tubes are clear acrylic, so the flow can be seen, and the inner tubes are stainless steel; the sections dismantle easily for cleaning. This tubular heat exchanger connects to a heat exchanger service unit, which supplies the hot and cold water and the measurements, and it comes with an instruction manual.

Experiments with the tubular heat exchanger
The exchanger is used to show how heat passes from a hot to a cold stream across a tube wall, and to compare parallel and counter-current operation from the temperatures measured along the tubes.
