The Hydraulic Jack (SKU JA-CT-9908) applies heavy loads in the field and the laboratory. Uses include applying loads during field investigations, finding the load-carrying capacity of piles, tensioning wires in prestressed structures and loading members of a structure to study their deformation. Each jack comes complete with a manually operated pumping unit fitted with a Bourdon tube load gauge and a high-pressure flexible hose. All jacks have 50 mm piston travel, and jacks up to 1000 kN have retraction springs. It is supplied by JaincoLab for structural and geotechnical testing.
