Proctor Penetrometer

The Proctor Penetrometer (SKU JA-ST-9825) gives a quick check on soil compaction. During standard compaction tests in the laboratory it is pushed into each compacted sample with a Proctor needle, so that curves of moisture content against dry density and penetration resistance can be drawn; on site, the same curves let the penetration reading guide compaction control. A spring-loaded plunger reads 0-40 kg in 1 kg steps.
