Precision Microtome (AO Spencer Type)

The Precision Microtome (AO Spencer Type), SKU JA-SI-6588, cuts uniform serial sections adjustable from 1 to 50 microns in steps of 1 micron. It has a counter-balancing wheel, an automatic feed mechanism with a feed release, and the feed works independently of the other movements. A light aluminium cover hinged at the back protects the mechanism, and the heavy cast base plate sits on rubber pads for grip.
