The Potentiometer with Pencil Jockey (SKU JA-SI-8111) is a four-wire metre potentiometer for comparing e.m.f.s and measuring small potential differences. Four constantan wires of 24 SWG, each one metre long, are clamped under heavy 18 SWG brass strips held by screws, so a wire can be replaced easily and the end errors stay negligible. Two full metre scales run along the wires, and the board measures 1.12 m x 100 mm x 50 mm high including terminals.
