The Lateral Extensometer (SKU JA-CT-9910) measures the lateral extension of 150 mm diameter x 300 mm high concrete cylinders while they are tested in compression, giving the data for Poisson ratio. It consists of two movable frames pivoted at one end and fixed to the specimen with screws. A dial gauge measures the lateral extension, and a removable spacer strip sets the dial gauge at the start. It is supplied with a 0.002 x 5 mm dial gauge or a 0.001 x 25 mm digital dial gauge. It is supplied by JaincoLab for concrete laboratories.
